Suzy try to remember what was said in the last episode. The other 3 council members wanted to get rid of the Uchiha, but the 3rd Hokage was against it. So if anything the council members need to be burned not the village

Don't blame the village for that. It was its elders, except the Third Hokage, who did that. They kept it as a secret. No one in the village knows this secret. So, how could you blame the village for something its leaders did and kept as a secret?

you said only 1 more episode untim the filler arc but it's actually 2. 142-143 are canon and then 144-151 is the filler arc just wanted to make sure you don't skip an episode.
