If i were Itachi, id keep it a secret. Itachis goal was 2 keep the leaf safe, telling sasuke made him want 2 destroy the village, so i think itachi didnt want his efforts to go to waste. Also, 1 more thing, its kind of hard 2 see due to the shading of the scene, but take a look at sasukes eyes at the end of the ep. Alot of reactors miss it on the first viewing, and its never given an actual reveal moment l8r on, so just saying 2 check it out now
Suzy's thinking is actually right, and the leaf village's elders in general DO SUCK. Including the third hokage for just agreeing with that and be like "ooh ok, guess you guys are right then". Not every uchiha was a shinobi militar, and all they ever wanted was their right being co-founders of the village. They killed every single children, babies, Sasuke's "aunt" that wasn't a shinobi at all, his uncle and every single person in the clan that didn't even have the sharingan power. So they fear them because of their "power" and are a threat for that? How are the Senju clan not more powerful by nature since they are born than an Uchiha without the sharingan? First hokage then Second hokage that trained the third that trained the master of the fourth. They all just took the power for themselves, Sasuke is RIGHT
Itachi did all that for the leaf village because of his love for peace. His clan was going to try to take over the village for themselves, which would obviously involve a lot of fighting and bloodshed. It's not the leaf village itself that's corrupt, it's the leaders within it.
Well it's official :( I'm about 10 episodes behind. Ever since the VIP was added, not a single video on the website is showing up. I've sent an email a couple days ago. I'm patiently waiting until this s fix so i can binge watch these reactions until I catch up!
i don't think it's that simple. naruto was hated by the village too but by working at it he was accepted by the village and by iruka who's family was killed in the nine tails attack. maybe the clan should have gone with diplomacy instead of staging a coup but of course like i said it's not simple. killing the leaders would cause war certainly and that's a outcome that itachi detested
Fans always praise Itachi as a hero with perfect morality but I disagree. Maybe slaughtering the Uchiha was the only way to prevent war after things had gotten that bad, but the way he purposely filled Sasuke with hate is so irrational and messed up imo. It was said that he wanted to make Sasuke strong, but was further traumatizing him and making him abandon his friends and village really worth making him strong? No, there's no way it was. Itachi made a mistake. Given Itachi's and intelligence and love of Sasuke this is also super out of character for him imo, it's way too irrational.
