The massacre of the Uchiha clan only became necessary as a solution because of many huge mistakes made by Village leadership, it's misguided to act like the village simply did what was needed and is free of blame. It sounds like you're trying to agree with Itachi, but your statement isn't in line with Itachi's beliefs at all. Itachi believed that the village came before the clans, but not that clans were tools. To say clans should be tools to a village is completely corrupt and labels Shinobi as tools as well. The entire point of the series is that Shinobi should not simply be tools as was made clear in the Zabuza arc.
