It's really weird to see how many people feel the need to jump to Pain's defense, and not let Suzy feel how she's going to feel naturally after what she's just seen lol. We get it guys, you're caught up in it. You're smart, you have wise opinions, and it bothers you that someone can't have THEIR own opinions. Just leave it alone and watch the reaction! Ffs
And people need to stop inferring about what comes next, even if you're not outright spoiling things, giving hints or hyping up certain outcomes or even episode numbers messes with the flow of someone naturally watching it for the first time. Just stfu already! Why after all this time do certain people still feel the need to set the record straight, or change the flow of a person's watch-through by hyping up certain episodes?

Let's go through the body count so far. Pain has killed Jiraiya, Kakashi, Geezer sage, Hinata, fodder shinobi number 1-at least 10,000. Oh let's not forget all the innocent people of the leaf who weren't a ninja in which there are at least 100,000 people in the village lets assume half of them made it through evacuation.
So from one day alone, Pain has killed at least 55,000 people 50,000 in which was killed in a single blow. And he still has enough fight in him to fight the nine-tails. This means Pain pretty much has the power of 2 atomic bombs at his disposal. Oh and that's just the leaf how many people do you think pain has killed to become the leader of the hidden rain village?
So he has a pretty high kill count.

Suzy...you are driven by your emotions at this point...if u understood pain's speech, then u ought to understand the point he's trying to make by asking 'Do you hate me now?'... Before pain's speech i reacted like you...but after hearing his speech i got where he's coming from....most of the people in the comment section also did if i go by their comments.
It should be noted that the flashbacks are intended to mirror the situation in the present with the roles reversed: Naruto stepping up to defend Hinata from some bullies and getting beaten for it, and now Hinata attempting to save Naruto from Pain and getting taken down.
