That's the most complicated fight in the anime, bcs u don't know who you want to die, danzou or the sasuke1

Danzo didn't kill the clan because they were powerful, he killed them cause they were planning a Coup d'état. Danzo isn't really a bad guy or a villain he was just burdened with all the darkness that the third hokage left to him. Right now in the story Sasuke is the villain and Danzo is a dark hero.

The way i see danzo is that he felt a sense of inferiority as he was unable to live the expectations of other. He felt that the only way he could change this is to become hokage and make an image of the village he wanted konoha to become which is to be the most powerful and respected village in the Shinobi world. I believe this was a selfish ambition as he not only believed he was the only one who could do this but also only really cared how the village was looked at the surface and not how the people was doing in the village which is why he financed orochimarus experiments on konoha villagers and why he didn’t do anything about pain.

Danzo needed to be stopped but he definitely loved the Leaf Village.
i wish we could have a longer backstory for him
maybe some filler episodes showing his realtionship with Hiruzen
i feel like that was way too short. even though that was impactful enough
he definitely loved the Leaf Village
such a great show that always can make us see even the side of the worst villains
that most of them were not bad persons. they were just making wrong decisions
even orochimaru,tho
Jiraya said that orochimaru was obsessed with imortality cause his parents died.
and that why he did all that he did. because when he was younger he was not able
to save the people that he loved the most.
that's a shame that the show didn't made episodes to show that.

They are explaining the abilities now in order to avoid confusion later when they start throwing abilities out rapidly so you understand whats happening during the flow without confusion.

Itachi killed the clan because of they started a civil war the other nations would have invaded and the entire land of fire could have been destroyed. So yeah, the Uchiha rebelling was a big deal.

Danzo did everything to protect the Hidden leaf Village, danzo was not to blame for the whole slaughter of the Uchiha it goes all the way to the second hokage, later on episodes you will see why danzo and the other elders did what they had to do.

the thing you have to understand about Danzo is that while his methods were wrong, his heart was always in the right place. All he wanted to do was protect the leaf. He admired Hiruzen, but knew he was a good man who wouldn't ever try do things like pre-emptively wipe out the Uchiha to ensure that a coup d'etat couldn't happen. His whole philosophy was that he'd let people like Hiruzen stay in the light and keep their pure nature while he worked from the shadows and did the nasty things necessary to protect the village. Even if it meant he was hated for it. Yeah we hated him because he prevented Naruto from returning to the village sooner, didn't want Naruto to leave the village after Pain was defeated, and because he then tried to manipulate the kage, but all of those were actions he felt were necessary in order to protect the leaf village.

Uchiha Clan betrayed Konoha and Danzo protected Konoha until the end.
Maybe not in the best way... maybe... but I'm not sure.

Danzo's method of dealing with the Uchiha is morally wrong, but logically, after wasting that much time, it was the only option.

It was either killing them or watch them start the fourth shinobi war ahead of schedule. And how many millions would die in the war? Would the Uchiha take responsibility for that?

That's why Itachi decided to follow Danzo's orders to massacre the clan because he saw no other way out of it.

Remember the Kaguya Clan of the Hidden Mist Village? The same thing happened there, they wanted to control, they wanted war, since they lived for it. Hence, the clan had to be wiped out to keep the peace.

Emotionally, a fucked up solution, but logically the right thing to do...

See now why all that drama Naruto and Sasuke are going tru is ridiculous? Sasuke doesn't care about anyone, while Naruto having heartattacks over Sasuke, Sasuke is out here disposing friends because his revenge is too strong for him to care about anything else. That's why when you were saying "Danzou is not the right side", like Sasuke and Madara were? For me all of them could've died right here, even Karin, she was a fan of Orochimaru's work. They're all trash, Sasuke is the worse because he has all his bad things justified by the manga.
