You’ll see more rin in future episodes, I believe they are actually canon episodes too but you still haven’t even really scratched the surface yet lol, the next few arcs tho really ramps things up

If you loved this arc just wait for the next kakashi arc, your pretty far away ( I think it’s like ep 350ish) but that one expands on this arc, although there are some spoilers so you’ll have to wait to watch that one too

I would just remind you of when Kakashi's tied Sasuke to a tree to talk to him. It was right before Sasuke left the village. Sasuke said to Kakashi "Maybe if i was to kill the most important people in your life; everyone who's ever meant anything. Maybe then i would listen to you; because maybe then you would have some idea how i feel." and Kakashi replied "You're a little late to put that theory to the test because everyone you're talking about is already dead." Keep that in mind when you're asking where people are from Kakashi's past :(.

enjoyed the double upload very much :) guess you dont remember it but in ep 80 of the first series they mentioned that Kakashi is always at that memorial stone for Obito and thats why he comes late :) this story has explained a lot it was great, its not really a side story its quite important, the reason why it was labeled that is cause the manga kinda took it out and just put it in between the first part and Shippuden for some reason, like a special, but its not its part of the story, thats why the anime placed it here where its more relevant :) luckily there are plenty of episodes to watch so who knows you might see stuff you will be very happy about, they made plenty of filler to address everything :)

Yes, Kakashi's sensei is the 4th Hokage. It was never stated but it was revealed when they showed a picture of what the 4th looked like in og Naruto (ep 56) and episodes later they showed a picture of Kakashi's team with the 4th as their sensei (ep 72 of og).

its not a spoiler to say that this yellow haired guy called menato is really the fourth hokage because u can see his face carved on the hokage mountain in konoha and they even showed us his picture when they brought up his name when they were talking about the 9-tailed fox being captured by him and sailed into naruto, but this time period is way before he become the hokage when he was only a junin in the last great war
