honestly your just splitting hairs here. danzo only launched his suicide attack because sasuke had him all but dead. it's kinda like if you stab someone multiple times and then leave them to bleed out and they kill themselves to end their own suffering are you gonna tell the judge but he killed himself.
Come on Dude. He hit a vital point in Danzo through Karin, that is after Danzo was already stabbed. He was dying from that point. Look and Danzo on his last legs trying to get away from Sasuke. You're telling me if Danzo didn't kill himself, he wouldn't have died?
I do understand where you are coming from about Sasuke. In our real world, this friendship would almost be considered to be toxic in our modern times and realistic solution for most people would be to cut the friendship. But considering that this a ninja setting for the anime and are dealing with the realities of warfare, the anime puts Sasuke as one of the important symbols to end hatred. In Naruto's case, he is the character who has developed to a point that he does want to end hatred and making peace with Sasuke would be a great step forward to that direction.
Now on a personal level with Naruto and Sasuke's friendship, this is who Naruto is. He is the character who treasures his bonds with friends over anything because of his upbringing. He will never stop being Sasuke's friend because he understands all the pain and suffering he has been through almost extremely similar to him and plus it's his ninja way to never go back on his word (Referring to bringing Sasuke back to the village). To find a person like Naruto in reality would be unreal, but hey if you ever find such a person then you are probably lucky to have a friend like that.

True, but did you really expect him to not try and take advantage of the war. He would probably find a way to make sure the Leaf, and only the Leaf comes out on top. He would see this as an opportunity to crush all potential threats to the Leaf in one fell swoop.
Chill with the good intentions because he didn't. Danzo just told himself that its for the good of the Leaf as an excuse. He never did anything just for the Leaf, it was always for his own personal benefit. He never really cared about the Leaf but told himself he did to justify all the things that he's done. Empty words. Danzo is trash and Im glad he died like the vermin he is.
