Fourth Hokage is on a whole other level. He is capable of going 1 vs all of the akatsuki if he was forced to. That's how strong he is.
Also, skip the filler. it's not worth. The pacing is incredibly slow and it serves no purpose to any of the characters then the two new characters. You never see them again.
Wasted filler. If it carried over into the actual story then i would have been fine.

Hidan was a great character. really funny ,strong, well written and charismatic.
but he deserved to stopped, forever. like any villain do deserve it. unless the villain become a anti-hero. which was not his case. he was a villain till his end.
in my opinion he's definitely one of the top 3 most unforgetable villains on this anime.

I dont wanna think that she dosent care what her audience wants to see but i guess thats the case here folks. I havent see one comment asking for the filler arc besides the deidera and tobi momments. She can watch it on her own time she wants to milk the serise i was really looking foward to the next arc but whatever

An entire discussion concerning revenge and the cycle of hatred is coming, and in light of the results of that conversation, right here in this episode Shikamaru did the wrong thing by taking his revenge against Hidan. Had Shikamaru instead carried Hidan's severed head to Konoha and given it to Tsunade for justice (instead of burying in revenge) and further into the hands of Ibiki and the Torture and Interrogation Force, knowledge might have been uncovered that would have prevented a great deal of what is yet to come.
