Oh, not sure if you know this but Pain's (not Nagato's) voice actor is the same person who voices Joel in The Last of Us!

Please In mind that Nagato was a war orphan from The 2nd Great ninja war which is the very same war that Jiraiya, Tsunade and Orochimaru were named the legendary Sannien. The dub made an error confusing it with the 3rd war, meaning He’s experience 2 great ninja wars, those two things alone have been overlooked and easily make him the most tragic character in the series.

Let her finish the arc before you fire off on her. I think the real point of it was almost said in this reaction. Everyone has a story, everyone is human and we all feel pain. War is terrible always. For everyone.

Suzy he also destroy the village cos he was looking for Naruto. If he knew Naruto would’ve been at the toad land to begin with , Pain wouldnt come to the leaf.

True but let's not forget that he knew where Naruto was before he completely nuked the village. He destroyed the village after being agitated by Tsunade claiming to know and understand pain. He wanted to make her and the villagers feel and 'know' true pain and teach them a 'lesson' on that topic by destroying the village.

Yeah thats the point she is missing, both are the the same just from opposite sides, main difference is that Nagato turned darker but his goal is ultimately noble, she sees the Leaf village has good guys but they arent without sins, just like Nagato explained how they forced the Hidden Rain to battle in war and nearly destroyed it, and despite that Nagato was willing to work with the Leaf if they allied with him, while Naruto was getting consumed by his hatred and nearly killed him, him refusing shows that Naruto is willing to grow up and see Nagatos point of view, cause like they said, him killing him out of revenge would just prove Nagatos ideals and make Naruto not learn anything from this fight or what Jiraiya was teaching him about the hate in the world

In the end both are the heroes of their stories while the other is the villain, its not has simple has good or bad guys, sometimes, they are just on opposite sides
