Well put dude. She seems to only be taking in the themes/messages/ideas on a surface level. Which sucks, I reckon it'd be more interesting if Suzy could sympathies with Naruto in regards to the 'cycle' dilemma. I guess this is the downside of not analyzing the content after watching/not being able to participate in fan discussions (ya'know since ppl would just spoil).
However, I 100% guarantee that on Suzy's second viewing, she will be able catch everything she missed and would come to appreciate the show even more.

I doubt she'd watch it for the second time....man..this arc marks the turning point of naruto's life...the story killed jiraiya so that naruto's character develops through this arc...if by the end of this arc she still regrets that pain didn't die by naruto's hand...then the entire storyline from jiraiya's death till the end of this arc would be pointless....she keeps on saying "i understand where pain is coming from" ...then why kill him...why not kill naruto? They are just two sides of the same coin right? ..just because your favourite characters died doesn't mean u deserve to kill...this arc is not just for entertainment...its also for enlightenment....if after the next episode she still says "pain should die"...then I'm out...cuz there's no point in watching furthur ...since numerous of naruto's decisions would be based on his growth from this arc...and if the reactor doesn't understand it..so be it ..U DON'T HAVE TO LOVE PAIN....JUST UNDERSTAND HIM...AND BY UNDERSTANDING I MEAN REALLY UNDERSTAND HIM
i have constantly given her reactions a chance but, she still "uhuu i love the good guys(really the good guys?)" "uhuu kill the bad guys, yes" belive it, never give up, power of friendship"... the show have SO MUCH MORE than this. Naruto grows up a lot after this, and if she still goes this, i'm out.
she was more into og naruto, now with naruto shippuuden she doesnt do aany efforts to think about the anime in a more reflectif way, she just grabs what s on the surface, I guess she cant even relate with war and pain, I have lived in a warzone for 10 years as a kid and I can relate to the deep meanings of everything pain says, it's true that you have to somehow share the same pain to a certain extent to understand each others.
