The Two Students - Naruto Shippuden Episode 169 Reaction

The irony here Suzy, is that you’re disagreeing with what he is saying, and yet each and every time you decide that you want him to die, it’s because of your biases to the people that you lost. You lost your favorite characters that you feel an actual connection to, and you are driven with the desire to see him dealt with in the same manner. Your justice is revenge. Same as his. You just get to decide that yours is the path that’s righteous because Naruto is supposed to be the hero, and Pain is supposed to be the villain.
And I don’t blame you. Most of the world will think the same way. I remember watching so many people react to the final fight in Avatar the Last Airbender. They could not comprehend an answer that didn’t end in the death of the enemy. That’s how we understand good and evil. Good lives, and evil dies. But what if, the reality of both isn’t so simple? What are we willing to do, for the ones that matter to us? How far are we willing to go?
I’m not saying Pain’s right, what I’m saying is that most people will say he’s wrong, but call for the same kind of “justice” the moment the same pain, and same choice, is staring us in the face. We can’t comprehend what that choice is, and what it means.

I feel like thus show is becoming way more situational ethical for Suzy. She's still thinking the Naruto world is black and white. But it's not, it's multiple shades of gray. She understands like maybe 1% of what pain has said and has either missed or completely ignored what he has said.
If you can't understand and remember facts from this simple anime and it's philosophy, I don't understand how are you going to watch Death Note where you have to remember a lot of information to not get confused, or more deep animes. Naruto has a lot of great ideas of understanding life, but it also has some major plot holes and mistakes. For example, Neji is hard working guy, and Naruto is a prodigy. But in OG Naruto we were told the contrary. Naruto has Nine Tails, his whole family is elite people, whereas Neji is from fodder branch of useless eyes clan, not as powerful as even a basic 3 tomorrow Sharingan. His level is being superior of Shinos and Kibas, and Naruto level is defeating Pain and other strong guys. This whole thing with never quitting is so destroyed by the fact that Lee despite his hard work never does anything, and then the loser guy happens to be the most powerful in the village. Not now, but soon he will be the strongest in the Leaf.
What's wrong with you people complaining about her hating Pain? Okay, she's really proving Pain's theory, that hatred will always exist - right now she only cares about revenge (Jiraya and Kakashi died) she's "blinded" because of that.
But you need to remember that she does not know the history of Nagato, does not know the formation of Akatsuki and does not know about other characters that have not even been introduced yet and will make us understand the whole shinobi world and its history since the origin of the chakra. Manipulations, cycle of hatred, betrayals, things that seem to have already been solved, but only the tip of the iceberg was shown to her.

By the time she reaches the origin of chakra she would have already forgotten what pain's philosophy was...since she can't even remember the rasen shuriken was taught to naruto by kakashi...anyway...no one takes this much time to understand pain...you are right about nagato's backstory...so that's just 2 eps from here... let's see what happens after that...if she still doesn't get the point then she never will.
But that is not the point bro...she should feel like not killing him before that "possibility" occurs ....his backstory should change her perspective...otherwise there's no point of her watching...she would be just happy at the end because of what happens but she will entirely miss the point pain was trying to make.
