I agree 100%. It can be saddening to watch a character you like die but don't throw the whole show away. These are Kishimoto's characters and he did as he pleased with them so we should respect the story (even though people like Sakura and TenTen needed better writing). We all have a right to like what we want but don't ridicule the show or decisions made because your favorite character died. Kakashi died for a bigger cause and went out a hero like Jiraiya. Don't dishonor their sacrifices because they died and you don't like it, that's doing too much. Who else could have taken on Pain? Tsunade had her own problems to handle. Guy's team was gone, Kurenai was pregnant, and other elite ninja like the original Ino-Shika-Cho were helping Kakashi or interrogating the prisoner. Asuma was gone so who else could have stood up to Pain? Danzo had his own agenda and he withheld his Anbu meanwhile the Hokage's Anbu were tied up as well so no Suzy Kakashi was the only person who stood a chance for this task.

I agree with this statement. I been watching alot of anime reactors and some times alot of reactors let emotions cloud their judgement and they don't see things rationally and from a logical standpoint. As a result it kind of ruins their interpretation of the characters and the story. Its like saying "I hate this villain because he's killed some of my favorite characters or causes to much death, I just want him to die and be gone forever" I mean that is ridiculous. You have to look at things more so from the writers perspective. Yeah surely there is emotional moments in anime, some times agonizing moments and hardship, blood shed and death that the antagonists cause but that in term is what makes "good writing" and more depth to the characters other wise the story would just be dry as hell with no substance to it. Can she really hate Orochimaru as a character just because of what he did? He's an excellent manipulative villain. I mean personally when he went out the way he did with sasuke. I was like DAMN we just lost a good character but suzy's like "thank god he's gone now". I just don't understand that way of thinking. Not to be sexist or anything but i think this is mostly a female thing to.

The example with pain is an interesting story if you PAY attention. Both Naruto and Pain seek to create peace and bring about justice in the shinobi world. It is just that the two characters go about it in very different ways. In this essence, it is a matter of perspective. You might think what the “villain” Pain did to Kakashi and Konoha are characteristics of an evil person, but is it so different to what Naruto and Konoha would do to their enemies? There is a REASON behind every characters actions and kishi actually brings such a human element to every character in the naruto world. If you want to watch something where villains are just one dimensional cookie cutter with absolutely no motivations or reasoning behind there actions then go watch something like fairy tail or something or bleach.

Man I don't think suzy would ever understand the deeper layers of one piece if she ever watched that show. It would probably go right over her head.
