Well everyone's free to have their own opinions about gabi but i think people should take the whole picture into consideration before hating her. I think people forget that falco and gabi were raised differently. Falco comes from the grice family which was a part of the eldian restorationists. His uncle literally was the OG leader before grisha joined. On the other hand gabi comes from the braun family which has already given a warrior to marley and are literally brainwashed about paradis.
I see why she is the way she is. I don't blindly hate her. I look at the events and circumstances that made her who she is. I dislike her for killing Sasha not for being an annoying character like many of her haters exclaim, even though I'm salty she killed Sasha, I won't let that cloud me from seeing all points of view. If she does something redeeming down the line then cool but, until then I don't like her. If she killed Levi or another fan favorite like Mikasa it'd be a different tune for a lot of people.
Great reaction, Suzy. I know that you were previously getting a lot of hate in your prior reactions for not picking up on certain nuances but this shows that you now have a really good grasp on the overall story and all the different motives and key points.
Thank you soooo much for at least understanding gabi and not ONLY being pissed that she’s racist and killed sasha . Yes she is just severely brain washed and just had her friends killed and home destroyed by who she was racist against lmao . It just makes a great story for her to grow as a character
It's not that we don't bother to understand. It that she is an intelligent warrior. And her God aka Zeke is on paradise side. She should have had some sort of change right there. But no she goes on and on and on... Etc on how there devil's. With that kind of intelligence she should have had some change of heart if here God and person she looked up to changed sides... I mean to not even put that in the story is weak. Cause it just shows me how f#%Ked she is. I know she is brain washed, But if someone I idealized changed sides I would think there was a pretty good reason behind it. Falco tells her there are reasons behind this. And then your Leader is on there air ship for none of that to register is just stupid.. I have gave it SOOOOO much thought. And Gabi is a horrible character and y'all can't change my mind. I've tried and tried to not hate her. But her as a character is hard to watch. Like legit gets Cringe sometimes.. And I could go on and give you a bigger list. But that would spoil the next couple episodes. So get off the gas. Remember Alot of use tried to understand Her. We just don't agree with her. She got some revenge when she took out Sasha, Then she sees Zeke. And she is locked up and doesn't give it any thought. I don't agree with her character and never will ??♂️. To be that Brain washed.. No she can kick rocks ?? And @Mattwill24647 Don't put Racist and Killed Sasha with ONLY in the same sentence. SMH ??♂️
I’m really glad you’re seeing Gabi’s side. You are showing a great understanding of the shift of this series and I love it. People in the AOT community typically fail to give reactors time to really grasp onto the complexity of the show. It IS a complex show to understand. Great reaction Suzy. Can’t wait for next episode.
Fun fact: Sasha was actually supposed to die a long time ago when she faught that small Titan with the bow and arrow to save the little girl . She was gonna be squeezed to death I think instead of slipping out due to the blood. I can’t remember who it was but somebody begged isayama( the author) to not kill her at that moment.
