it's just because she babies him, he knows how good she is and commented on it before, but Mikasa's whole world revolves around Eren and she constantly wants to protect him he doesn't want her to worry, he said that when he passed his test with the gear. It dosent help that he always sounds angry tho

btw the reason eren talks like that to mikasa is because of his inferior complex towards her.
mikasa is a genius cadett who placed first in the rankings and is perfect almost everything.
she also talks about about protecting eren all the time which irritates him because he dosent want to be seen as someone that needs protection.
i know he seems very rude but it isnt because he dislikes her or something.

Your not understanding eren when it comes to mikasa. When he’s telling her no it’s because she has orders that she want to ignore so she can be beside eren. That’s why he talks to her like that because she’s putting eren before mankind.
