he wasn't. Light was shown deleting all of the information. all Mello and Near got was "L is dead." -- If L had managed to get information to Near he wouldn't have had to deduce Light was Kira from what Aizawa said about Soichiro during the Execution episode.
N is better than L? oh gosh, L deduced everything, then Near and Mello teamed up starting with all the information. Even the 3rd Shinigami told Mello that the 13 days rule is fake, L was all alone against two Kiras and one of them had the Shinigami eyes + 2 Shinigamis, L will still Light's biggest nightmares.
I remember when Light said, "Misa, all I want is to enjoy a long life with you in an ideal world." back in Episode 24 lol. Now he says Takada can be the goddess of the new world. I kind of find it hard believe these simple lines actually work on them, unless he really is just that handsome.
Also, Misa is a moron. Don’t get me wrong, I like her, but in no way has Light ever been her man. He told her this from the beginning. And is Light really manipulating these women or do they just feel so strongly for him that they’d do anything? If anything, Light has been honest to both. Although maybe he feeds off Misa’s affection ?♂️
You are actually the first person i heard saying that naruto shippuden is above death note.... although i would never compare those two as one is action and other is psychological thriller....respect your opinion though... you're in for a ride the next 4 episodes✌️
Its just an opinion....for me death note is short, crisp, fast paced and brilliant...naruto goes dull in between sometimes...and has those long flashbacks...if i had to compare i would say death note is better...again, i respect your opinion too...but dont just say it as it were a fact that naruto's standards are high
It's brevity is a point against it not for it. When I first watched it I didn't think too hard but now that I have it's just hacky that L/Near always pull information right out of their asses, if it was longer there would be time for more realistic deductions to be written properly
Again man, its just an opinion...its what people feel best about both the animes is what makes them keep one above another...for example..if emotions are concerned, its always going to be naruto...on the other hand, if it were for thrill ..death note takes the cake ..and seriously man ...L and near never just conveniently made deductions...they always gave reasons for their deductions...most of near's deductions were based on what mello did ...like kira killing the director of the npa and not sayu ..which showed that sayu is close to kira...etc etc..
