Renewal - Death Note Episode 26 Reaction

I don't get why she hates Light so much lol. I guess she was rooting for L pretty hard.

L couldn't stay alive. It would have been bad writing.

Light is an evil supermastermind + he had a Death Note (with crazy powers and rules that L couldn't even imagine) + he teamed up with Misa who had the Shinigami eyes + he could use 2 shinagami with a weakness (apples for Ryuk and Misa for Rem) + L had to compose with the police and the law a minimum when Light (or I should say Kira) could plan to kill and manipulate anyone like a living god.

LIGHT IS AN ASSHOLE BUT L WAS DEAD FROM THE START.

Rem couldn't care less about L or Light. Her only goal was to protect Misa and make her happy. I don't know how on Earth she deserves to be hate. It's Light the asshole. How many people did he manipulate to save his ass or kill L ? We don't even know !

I just wanna put this to rest now, Suzy.
The reason why L reacted the way he did when he actually SAW Rem, was because fascination had overcome every other emotion, including fear. Ryuzaki was so fascinated at the fact the Shinigami actually do exist, that his brain probably ran miles trying to think what else may be possible, or perhaps he was merely just enthralled in the fact the Shinigami exist.

L vs Light and light won and what was light suppose to do let L win?

Come on guys. A character death does not automatically mean “bad writings.” Wake up people! Learn to accept deaths. I understand he was a fan favorite character, but to delude a show and call it “bad” just because your favorite character died is something I can not agree with. Also, Rem had no choice but to write L’s name in the Death Note, so I am not sure why you’re mad at her.... She wanted to save Misa. Light set her up to kill L.

Rem had to kill L. Light deliberately had Misa start killing again, knowing full-well that she would get caught by L. Light forced Rem's hand by putting Misa in a position where she would die. L came very close to figuring it out so Rem took action. It all makes sense, even if you hate it :D

Ok let’s settle this topic.
We all know for a fact that light won but who is really smarter? IMO L is the smartest in the show, why he lost? because light had so much power : 2 shinigamis and 2 death note and a partner who posses the eyes, I mean how L supposed to figure that out? That’s beyond science, I mean if light was in L’s shoes he’ll never deduce that much.

Rem didn't have a choice Misa would have been killed if she was by L

Rem only cares about Misa. And the only thing that could save Misa was the death of L. That' is an undeniable fact. L was never going to stop, and he would never have agreed to pardon someone like Misa who killed so many people.

I’m definitely team Light. Yeah he’s an evil, manipulative, egotistical, person but he’s such a good character! And tbh I don’t think everything he’s doing is necessarily bad. Killing any and all criminals. Not for pleasure but for a better, SAFER, world. A crime free world. Makes anyone think twice about attacking another person, country, etc..

L is my favourite character so I empathize. Series is still good moving forward though, though some fans didn't get over L's death

This is the weakest episode imo, just recapping which seems unnecessary in such a short series as you mention.

I don't really get the people who still like Light this far in - honestly I was off the Light train in Episode 2 when he kills the fake L who he didn't know was a criminal. Showed his true colours.
