I liked the mushroom filler too and someone asking Naruto about marriage because he was Jiraiya's student lol. Also, I liked an episode involving Jiraiya in Orignal Naruto, an episode literally all about laughter, filler arc involving two fat brother siblings, bug filler arc, and one filler arc involving stars and a lovely mother's melody and more!!! All these filler episodes in Original Naruto and I think Suzy skipped all of it and went straight to Shippuden or OG Naruto episode 220 and then Naruto Shippuden episode 1... :l :(

Now, Naruto has a verbal tic wherein he adds a "tebayo" which roughly translates to "you know" and when he says the whole word it sounds DATTEBAYO. He says it like that just to make his sentence more effective and catchy. Its means 'believe it'. So he wants that the words he spoke are the truth.
if u watch any naruto episode in Japanese language u would hear it probably like 10 times, obviously in the English version they cant translate it bc its part of the Japanese language...
btw no spoiling here but u need to understand this point not only to this reference but it will be mentioned in the future and u wont understand a thing if u dont know the whole reference bc just like now they wont explain the context..

Suzy you reallllly need to watch one piece. Almost every flaw you point out in naruto is just handled so much better in one piece. I kid you not, that series will be probably your most favorite show in anime/manga. Ask steejo how much he's enjoying it.
OG naruto i think is still my favorite because at this time kishomoto really knew what he was doing with the story and it felt very ninja esque and it was more of a persalized tale before it became all about these damn tailed beasts crap. Thats just my opinion lol.

Yeah Eng dub is bad, when it comes to rap it's even worse. Jap dub with subtitles > Eng dub always for me. I watch animes with eng dub only when I watch someones reactions.
