Following the Master's Shadow - Naruto Shippuden Episode 153 Reaction

I just wanna say, the episode where Jiraya died, sure it was sad and all... but the episode regarding his death that hit ME the hardest was this one... because this deals with the grief of the ones who are left behind, which is just despair and misery. It is such a torturing feeling, to know that never again will we see the ones who have parted; it is just such a monstruous feeling of grief, it is almost too much to bear and I fully understand the shot where you just see Naruto sitting in his room with his head down, time moving but everything is quiet. And the endless stream of tears when he sits with the popsicle... so unbelievably masterfully done.

Poor Lady Tsunade she has endured so much it's really sad... Her walking down the hall and letting her emotions flow out of her is such a sad thing to see. I just hope her pain in the heart has healed some bit.

Oh, you put on make-up for this one? You thought we were through with the grief from yesterday? Big mistake. XD

Yeah, Shikamaru was the best suited to talk to Naruto right now because he recently (relatively) went through the exact same grieving process with Asuma, so he could relate and knew exactly what to say.

the ideas of justice and revenge will be talked about alot in this arc and i rly advice u to think deeply about them, when does our revenge become justice and when it turns into hate..naruto is one of the deepest animes there is, its ideas are to complex to get from 1 episode

"Is that weird?" YES IT IS. Dating your dead sensei's girlfriend who's pregnant with his child couldn't be farther from being ok. Even if it happened in like 10 years that's still really weird morally, it disrespects Asuma completely.

It's kind of funny that you are talking just like Sasuke in regards to getting vengeance against Pain.

Shikamaru and Kurenai getting together would be weird considering that shikamaru is about 16 and Kurenai is in her 30's. Plus considering that she is still pregnant it hasn't been that long since Asuma died.

Can you imagine how Tsunade can feel, after all she has known Jiraiya since childhood, they trained together, they fought in war together, they grew up together, she has endured a lot not to break in front of the others.
