@mattwill24647 Dude you only consider Temari and Shikamaru well developed because it was the least controversial within the fandom. If Suzy didn't see it then she didn't see it. The author didn't exactly have them interact THAT much in Shippuden so it can be easily forgotten by casual fans who aren't invested in forums. There were definitely hints to them being something but romance wasn't exactly the main focus. The same can be said for Naruto and Hinata since romance wasnt the main topic. Naruto isn't dumb like that. In Japanese he mistook her love confession for platonic because Hinata said a word in Japanese that usually refers to platonic friendship love depending on the context.
In my opinion, Temari and Shikamaru was the only relationship that Kishimoto actually laid a foundation for them to be together in the future. Naruhina and SasuSaku was always more one sided tbh, Temari and Shikamaru always had a great repertoire/chemistry, it made sense
Besides from Ino, Temari is the second girl that is closest to Shikamaru. Even Naruto excused them once of dating in the beginning of shippuden because they were always seen together whenever she would come to the leaf. Temari also showed up in Shikamaru's "dream world" in the infinite tsukuyomi. Don't forget that you even mentioned during their first fight that you could see them together and now it's pretty much heavily hinted again ?

Asuma's Death was really super sad. i also wish we had more time with him.
so cool to see Shikamaru using the same jutsu that Asuma used to use.
the jutsu that shikamaru used in the end making the knife blue was asuma's jutsu
and this is the second time on the show that Shikamaru used that Jutsu.
also Temari throwing that to him. same temari that saved him on the end of OG.
same Temari that fought him in the chuninn exam.one of my favorite fights on OG

Suzy don’t forget that Temari & Shikamaru fought in the chunin exams and Temari is the one who saved Shikamaru during the Sasuke retrieval arc she also stayed with Shikamaru afterwards outside of Choji’s operating room plus at the start of Shippuden her & Shikamaru were in charge of the chunin exams she may not have had much screen time but most of it was spent with Shikamaru
