To be honest kakashi arc is not filler. It is a seperate novel written by kishimoto which he couldn't fit in the manga...fillers are not only episodes which are just randomly made to give time to the author to write the main story ahead.. ...these are considered fillers because they do not affect the story going ahead but are important since its a backstory on one of the important characters. Anything written by kishimoto is canon.
This. Exactly very true. Also there are some pieces that some people probably don't even realize that were not directly filler as well as they were idea's that kishi wanted to incert in the manga but later pitched by the staff to put into the series. One of these bieng. Orochimaru's back story and how Anko got branded. Believe it or not for those that was following naruto way back in those days, this was a discussion in the SBS. How ever the kaguya arc is not, i don't care how people justify this one as good as it is, this one isn't canon at all. But its an original story designed by the staff to resolve some history and story behind the earliest period of naruto.
How are any of these idiots going to sit here and tell Suzy not to react to the backstory arcs for the character she fangirls for the most?
