Hey Suzy, I just want to let you know That What you said in your last reaction about when you’re not feeling emotional and Naruto still manages to hit you in the feels and that it’s a good show, that’s actually the best and most legendary anime at Doing that in that particular aspect/regard. When it comes to hitting you in the feels or pulling your heartstrings, there’s no anime like Naruto.
I wouldn't go that far lol. But in terms of shonen it deffinitly is a story about life, lessons and emotional drama as a focus. Kishi really likes to explore the individuality of a persons emotions, feelings and motivations as well as their characteristic flaws. I think that is what makes naruto's characters feel far more human like and not cookie cutter one dimensional like some other shonen series. Also naruto carries with it a bit more of a dramatic and darker tone then other shonen like one piece, bleach and fairy tail do.
