She was scared cuz she thought that's THE moment, The Day of Juggement! But is not! She also cried when Guy fought with Kisame on first arc of Shippuuden. She thought that he was going to use all 8 gates but no one ever said that, she just assumed that and started crying.

This is one of the most powerful reasons why naruto wasn't a great show that it could have been the way all characters sorta just ignore and let saskue walk over them karin and sakura perfect examples of kishi treating his female characters like shit cause he's hot I'm going to forgive him? Hell no and then Naruto after his powerful development after Pain then regresses back into his early shippuden ways with this obsession of saskue and ignoring his crimes kishi lowkey sucks off saskue a bit too much with having every character on his dick males and females lol if they toned down the saskue obsession show could have been so much better

the girls forgiving sasuke that easily yes your right, everything else xD oh you poor child watch the show again and use the the brain a little more, and you'll find out that after the pain ark naruto found a completely different reason, saving sasuke after the pain ark is literally the first step to what nagato and jiraiya wanted for the world, jesus kid

Well more than forgiving him its more like they want him to return to his old self, Sakura doesnt wanna give up on him, thats why she tried so hard convince herself that she could kill him to stop him and still couldnt do it.

Both knew his old self, thats why they know he isnt or at least wasnt pure evil

Not really the issue that I see as a flaw. The part where Kishimoto established that Naruto was the child of prophecy was one of the major fundamental issues. The rest have yet to be introduced and I'm sure even a monkey can spot the problem.
