This is what bothers me so much about the Hinata and Naruto relationship! In one episode she has shown more depth than Sakura has in OG and 160 episodes of Shippuuden, which is a waste. Naruto is still all about Sakura. While Hinata is inspired by Naruto and loves him for whom he is, Sakura always only cared for Sasuke‘s looks and his „cool“ behaviour.
Sasuke and Sakura aren‘t worth all the attention in my opinion.
Hinata is best girl, she is likeable, maybe a bit awkward, and she tries! Heck, wee see more of her development in the shortest of time and we love her, but Sakura was a waste of space from episode 1 who is apparently strong but is continuously just completely useless and a crybaby.

Im honestly getting annoyed by the hate she gets, if it wasnt for her several people would have died, some examples being Kankuro Gaara, Hinata and Sasuke i would say more examples but those would be spoilers

And on the Sasuke thing, it did started like that, with her being in love by his looks and cool personality, but it become something more akin to true love after she got to knew him better and viceversa when they were on team 7.

One piece is just unreal. Its a tier above your typical shonen in my opinion. Its like the author should be writing scifi, or space opera or something lol. I have seen over 2000 anime's, mix of series, movies, films according to my MAL database and one thing I don't like about shonen is you have many deconstructions of a story where certain mechanics become irrelevant over time or story idea's just get thrown to the wind as you progress as the writers have no idea how to carefully and articulated plan out things so its consistent. One piece honestly breaks all of these typical conventions and its strength comes from how everything just seamlessly connects together and the art of foreshadowing is done in such a magnificent way that every single solitary story beat has reason behind it and relovence for the purpose of future plot points. Its honestly like sitting through something like steins;gate in terms of execution but with the adventure elements and typical shonen mixture thrown in. I truly and honestly believe this is the one shonen that will do the single thing that MOST other shonens have failed to do and that is give us a satisfying ending.
Well, there's about 50 episodes that are filler, 31 episodes are after the main plots, which leaves like 219 episodes of the main plot. So yeah she'll be going into 2021 but not too far. We're looking at somewhere in the first half of Februrary to get past the main stuff and mid March if she reacts to episodes 470 on.
