Tale of Naruto Uzumaki - Naruto Shippuden Episode 174 Reaction

Comments

That's not true. Minato is about 5 years older than Nagato (Minato was 24 when he died, Naruto is around 16 at this point, so if he was alive, Minato would be 40; Nagato is 35). Minato graduated the academy at 10; for Jiraiya to train Nagato first and make it back to Konoha in time to train Minato, he would have had to leave Nagato, Konan, and Yahiko when they were 5. He trained them for 3 years; I'm reasonably certain they were older than 2 when they first met Jiraiya.

So, the only way the timing works is if he trained Minato for a bit, went to war, met the Rain trio and trained them, and THEN returned to Konoha.

The young Nagato (before becoming the Pain) was before Minato's death. I can't write the proof here as it would be a spoiler.

You think she'll check out the later Shippuuden movies and do a little reaction to it? At least to the one that's connected to the story.

Can't wait for that really big arc in the future, best one imo. This Arc comes in 2nd for me.

it's a shame the best naruto arc ends this way. This overshadows all the teaching of pain that was so successful for Naruto, really the obviousness of reviving characters in this type of anime is already tiring. The learning of all konoha would have been more profound if this would not happen, therefore it overshadows an arc that was excellent up to this point. Henceforth the author overwhelmingly lowers the plot quality due to external pressures, leading to the worst ending to one of the best series I've seen.
I think its still not that bad...nagato had a change of heart in the end which made him realise his methods were wrong...so he decided to revive everyone he killed to undo some of the wrongs ..and as far as his teachings are concerned..naruto had learnt a lot about pain in the arc ..he was never driven towards peace before this arc ..but now he his...so its like a win win situation where naruto understood about pain and peace and grew up...and nagato undid some of his wrong doings and proved that he put his trust in naruto....naruto would never take it for granted as nagato sacrifices his life to revive everyone...and obviously naruto would have known that he won't have the power to talk down every enemy in the future nor will every enemy have the power to revive people.

Naruto's response is as utopian and more so for a person like Nagato who lived in difficult situations. It is clear that even in boruto, the logic of pain remains intact, and the peace achieved is thanks to the fact that everyone fears the two protagonists of this story. Therefore naruto still has not been able to achieve peace from jiraiya's point of view.

Next filler arc goes from episode 176 to episode 196, this is the first arc of filler episodes that doesn’t tell a continuous story, as happened at Sora’s arc, Guren / Yuukimaru’s arc or Utakata’s arc, but some of these episodes have scenes of the main story, they are from 176 to 180, the beginning of these episodes you need to watch because they are part of the history of the manga, after that you can skip to episode 197 and continue with the main story.

While Nagato may have pulled a deus ex machina, I saw no problems in it. It shows that Nagato's views has changes and he died while doing something good. That's cool and I think it was an epic moment.
