It's hard to argue what you told about Uchiha and Danzo without spoiling. But you very well know who started the Uchiha stuff and forced the Uchiha into what they eventually become. Now, in terms of him protecting the village. The issue is that if you look from the perspective of us meaning spectators then yeah, Danzo is f'd up, but honestly, if you look at things from within Naruto Universe then Danzo is simply following the person and the ideals of the person whom he idealized (you know who that is). And that is why those are the methods he uses. I would really love to come back to this discussion once we get past the explanation of the whole thing with Danzo and Uchiha.

I know Danzo is trying to do what he thinks is best but even he has to know that what he's doing is fucked up. Or at least how he goes about it. I know the Uchiha incident wasn't all on him that's why I said it was partially his fault without giving spoilers.

From the perspective of the leaf Danzo wasn't not qualified to be the fifth hokage but the fact that he already had a seat on the council and his age had a lot to do with it. After all hokage is a long term position and Danzo is already in the late stages of life so having someone slightly younger is always a big factor.

Besides he is fighting 1 pain. Jiraya fought 3 easily.

I don't know about easily, really if it wasn't for the frogs he would have lost against 3.....he doesn't have genjutsu and that us the only reason Jiraya won that fight.

You are right though at least it is just one Pain.

Ikr. Realistically Kakashi showing up is a very good thing considering Pain is going around killing Ninja left and right and Kakashi is one of the strongest ninja in the village. If someone weaker had shown up Pain would've probably been able to kill Iruka after killing them quickly. Her worrying for Kakashi is entirely warranted since Pain killed Jiraiya though.
