Marty O Donnell who was the Sound Director/ Composer for the Halo games said that for Halo 3 that when he read the script for the game, he thought that in order for the players to really understand the stakes that they needed to know that no one was safe, that is why characters like Johnson and Miranda Keyes were killed because you cant feel like your brave unless you have the pain and fear of death.

Jiraya was the greatest ninja alive. He was old but acted like young. He smiled at sad moments to make us smile too. He was irresponsible but he acted like the father we never had. We all loved Jiraya and we will always love him <3

At the end of this episode , after the credits and preview for the next episode, it shows a picture of jiraiya and Naruto. And it’s so damn cute. Naruto and jiraiya are back to back sitting down and Naruto is sleeping against him and jiraiya is looking back at him smiling. My heart BREAKS every time. RIP my husband

Finaly I can say: Welcome to the world of anime, girl! Coz that's how true heroes die in anime. Azuma, Jiraiya. I've wanted to tell you a long ago that when there's a much screen time for someone important, then that means something but I didn't wated to spoil that moment for you, specialy when you belived so much that nothing bad will happen to such important character.
So, one more time. Welcome to the true anime world <3

Jiraiya will always be one of the most beloved characters in Naruto. He was a true legend and a great Godfather to Naruto. I've always felt his relationship with Naruto was the most beautiful relationship in the whole show.

I really feel you. I've watched this episode like 10 times and yet I cry in every single one of them. Also it's really tough how just a few episodes after we lose Asuma, we lose Jiraya as well.
