What made this episode amazing and full of hype was the combination of music, Tanjiro using his ancestor's fire dance against Rui, Nezuko's blood demon art and the credits. I know when I saw this months ago I was hype af when I saw this fight. Also many of us watched this in sub where the emotion is better felt through the dialogue than it is in the Demon Slayer dub in my opinion. I love dub and sub but in terms for Demon Slayer the emotion shines for the sub way more.
This fight got a lot of attention, not only because of the animation, but because it handled the theme of familial bonds in a way that many other animes (including Naruto) wish they could. The bond itself plays a big role in the battle too. Also the song is beautiful.
this comment should be spoiler free. well if u havent noticed each of the chars have 1 element or style each. inoske have beast senitsu have lightning tanjiro have water. all the ones we have seen only have 1. tanjiro uses water... in this one we got some background flash back. and all the sudden he wields "fire". watch it again at some point suzy :) there are some info in there. but the fact he used "fire" i guess is what alot of ppl was so hyped about. wich i my self also was. that and a major progress with tanjiro and nesuko in this episode. she used a new ability aswell here.. :) anyways as always great video and sorry i totaly miss spelled the names.
tbh it is rather huge. if u compare it too naruto its like when he used the windstyle rasenshuriken first time or one of the other major power progressions like in dragon ball terms is would be the first time you see the super saiyan mode. its rather huge :) and him haveing something that looks like fire along with his usual water style. well its kinda like if naruto all the sudden opened his eyes in the middle of a fight and BOOM he has the sharingan aswell.. well i guess not that lvl of overpower but still :) i tried too use references instead of saying out right how huge this is for the story :)
I'm sure she's already picked up on all of that. The power ups were amazing, but for me the animation, the music, and the bond between Tanjiro and Nezuko are what made the episode my favorite even more than that. I think the reason she was expecting more was because people in the comments set her expectations too high. Of course she will not be as amazed if she is expecting to be amazed, this is common sense.
