Honestly, this FBI death here didn't make a whole lot of sense. They wrote her just too good to realistically be fooled that way, that quick.

Hey All, Suzy, Want to know some interesting info that not many people know. (I know this cuz this is my favorite anime and I followed everything related to this.)

The author, Tsugumi, actually made a mistake about Naomi. He wanted to keep her in all the following episode, but he accidentally made her too smart. He wrote himself into a corner. He had to remove her from the series.

Yes, really. and just like what Eden Ethernal said below, she would have overshadowed L. The author made her too smart by accident. So yep. Some interesting death note info.

He even admitted that she was probably smarter than Yagami, which is why he killed her. She was too much of a threat and she would have overshadowed L.

Smarter than L? I don't think so. L would never have been swayed by Light into giving his name in that situation, he is more cautious than that. I also think Light was smarter than her considering he tricked her.

If Light hadn't accidentally run into her at the police station, he probably would have been caught from this.

If I had to be on one side in real life, that would be L, but since this is an anime, I was supporting Light on my first watch.
