Suzy, this is my 2nd Favorite anime of all time, which the 1) being Rurouni Kenshin (another awesome amazing anime.

Though it waz gunu be fullmetal alchemist death note was one of my first animes it's worth it for sure love the reactions take care :)

I watched Bleach. Was my first anime (not including Dragon Ball, Pokemon or Yugioh). Then after I caught up to the latest episodes I watched Fullmetal Alchemist (2003), then Elfen Lied, then Death Note. Then I watched code geass, D. Gray-Man and started Naruto original. Moved on to Shippuden till I was caught up watching the latest episodes. After that I went full weeb. Watching so much anime I have forgotten all the little obscure shorts shows I watched plus all the classics and even season anime that only had one season, (looking at you mad house) So Death Note will always hold a place in my heart as being one of my first anime series.

Code Geass is another amazing one.

Youre going to love this one Suzy. I know every miniscule detail about Death Note. I read it all over a decade and a half ago, and then watched it all in Japanese, and then English as it was produced. Its just phenominal, and I hope you truly enjoy. ;)

Death Note is certainly a top-notch anime! Good choice! It's probably a top 10 for me. Another good one you should watch eventually is Code Geass. That's the best anime I've ever seen, but Death Note is great too.

This anime gets pretty deep, and wow you have chosen an anime with a different type of protagonist then you are used to. Looking forward to your reactions to this.

Right before the guy got hit by the truck, it flashed a quick subtitle saying "Accidental Death" below his name just incase you're curious :)

I HIGHLY recommend you pay attention to every little detail, Suzy. This show is about geniuses, after all. Missing at least one information will lead to confusion.
