The best way to put it as to what happened to Kirito without spoilers, is that as you saw in the end of last episode, and as they stated, those soldiers attacking the Ocean Turtle cut those cables. When that happened, it caused an electrical surge that cooked Kirito’s fluctlight. As a result, the damage to his fluclight has left him, as the best term to describe it for you, in a catatonic state. He clearly aware of what’s going on around him, but he’s unable to do anything about it right now.

That song at the end is one of my favorites from Lisa: Unlasting. I tear up just from listening to it.

Alice has lost her confidence to use her sword rather than not physically being unable to weld it, and a side note, something the anime left out from the LN was that last seen of her in tears laying in bed with kirito she was contemplating that if she had the strength to she would use her sword to end both kiritos and her life. The downside to the final season is there was so much material that had to be cut out or it would have gone on for another seasons worth, which is a shame as there are scenes upcoming which have been massively reduced and some important scenes even completely left out but thats like any movie/tv show adaptation of a book series.

AARG! Where can I find a dubbed version of this season, on a trustworthy site. I tend to distrust any site that is "free".
