You know what? Sasuke's thoughts are:
"You don't know what Itachi went through, his suffering, his sacrifice. You don't know a damn thing about me and you can never understand me. You don't have a right to say anything to me or lecture me before you experience the same." I fully undestand Sasuke. He was badass all the time for me but after years, and after going through a lot of pain I could relate to him.

Suzy do you remember when Madara was talking to Sasuke after he fought Itachi? He said that "If Itachi wished it, you would be dead right now". This directly suggests that Itachi was stronger at that time, and If I'm being honest Itachi was still MUCH stronger even considering his illness. Great reaction as always.

This episode basically sums up how shippuuden gradually devolved into these melodramatic flashbacks we've seen 1000 times that repeat once again to add up whatever emotional value and steal screen time from actual content

Itachi won that fight. he was sick and holding back and even though he won that.
he could kill Sasuke if he wants. Sasuke was totally defenseless in that last moment.
Sasuke was really far to be as strong as itachi in that moment. that's for sure.
now Sasuke have the Amaterasu and The Susano'o maybe that would be different.
but back on that moment, Sasuke never had any chance to beat Itachi.
really nice episode. many awesome and emotional flashbacks.
it's been a lot of fun to rewatch this arc hearing your thoughts on it

Hello suzy lu. I like your reactions. But I have a suggestion and I hope you will take it into account. Could you please upload 2 anime videos that you see because the truth is a bit stressful having to wait a full day to see your reactions, or at least with 2 specific anime: SAO and Naruto. I know you have your own private life and you have to do other things, but I think that one more episode would not be any trouble or would it?

Lots of flashbacks are one of the reasons why the anime version is less amusing.

Short answer no, Sasuke wouldn't have taken Itachi out. Itachi's love was stronger than Sasuke's hate, and everyone feared what Itachi was capable of. If Itachi's was at full health, god knows what he would have been capable of...

Itachi never let a loose end, he wants naruto to kill sasuke if he go to atack the hidden leaf, simple like that, well thats what i think

Well it’s all downhill from here, the second half of Shippuden is basically a giant flashback montage.
